Ram Leela

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much talked about venture is loosely based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Ram Leela is a story of love in violent times.

The film has primarily been shot in Kutch, Gujarat and has a very rustic feel to it. The film however isn't a period drama and has a modern feel to it.

Deepika sports a radically different look in Ram Leela and it's very different from what she's done before.

Cast - Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadda, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Shweta Salve

Director - Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Verdict - Highly anticipated, the movie does boast of a good cast and good musical numbers. For those of you who like spins of classics done in different ways, this could work for you. I would suggest you give this one a try, it's one of those you either love it or hate it movies.

Verdict - A must watch for fans of the horror genre. The trailer itself gets you hooked. The movie although not as thrilling and shocking as the first part, it does however keep you engaged throughout the film.

Faust

Faust, played by Johannes Zeiler, is a man in search of the ideals of the Enlightenment but he becomes obsessed with the lovely Magarethe (Isolda Dychauk) and eventually sells his soul to the Devil (Anton Adasinsky) also known as the Moneylender, so that he may possess her.

Comic, cosmic, painterly and stunningly beautiful scenes abound as the Devil takes Faust on a strange, unforgettable journey that ends in Hell itself.

Johannes Zeiler does an admirable job as the charming lead character. I would suggest you give this one a watch.
