After having Sunny Leone in the fifth season of Bigg boss, the show is planning to rope in adult star Mia Khalifa for the ninth edition now..
Bigg Boss was possibly the biggest platform given to Sunny Leone to get recognised in India. She did and how! And now, following her footsteps will be another adult star Mia Khalifa. The makers of Bigg Boss 9 have already approached the porn star to appear on the show this year.
Reveals our source, "The channels have approached a lot of people this time. Mia also is one of them. Talks are on with her and she too has shown interest." But has she already given a nod? "The modalities need to be worked out first," our source confirms. (Read: Who is Mia Khalifa?)
Will she be a contestant on the show from the very beginning? "That also needs to be planned. If she says yes, she might be roped in immediately. If not, she might make a grand wild card entry as the show proceeds." Now that sounds uncannily similar to Sunny's entry on the show. Sunny was loved by the audiences and she still maintains that it's Salman Khan who's helped her find a place in Bollywood. Will she also follow a similar route? We've to wait and watch! According to Pornhub.com data, Mia Khalifa is the world's most well-known porn star and and had received death threats from extremists for taking part in porn. Her family said in a statement: "We are probably paying the price of living away from our homeland; our kids had to adapt to societies that don’t resemble our culture, traditions and values. Hence, we emphasise that we disassociate ourselves from her actions which do not reflect her family beliefs, her upbringing or her true Lebanese roots. We hope that she comes back to her senses as her image does not honour her family or her homeland — Lebanon."
Khalifa is least bothered by the threats. She tweeted defiantly: ‘Doesn’t the Middle East have more important things to worry about besides me? How about finding a president? Or containing ISIS?"
