Move over Baahubali, now a Rs 1000 crore film will be made soon. Yes, reportedly, a UAE based Indian businessman is willing to pipe in Rs 1000 crore to make The Mahabharata come alive on celluloid.

The film will be titled The Mahabharata and will be directed by ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon. The film, like Baahubali, will be divided into two parts and the shoot begins this September 2018. The first part should release early 2020.

The film will be shot in several languages - English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and dubbed in other foreign languages too. Along with that, both Indian and international artistes will be part of the ambitious film.
