'Most Beautiful Woman in the World' Gwyneth Paltrow proves a point in sexy dress

Lead actress Gwyneth Paltrow put on a sophisticated appearance at the Marvel’s Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere.

Gwyneth arrived on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California in an Antonio Berardi gown with mesh panels down the sides, showing off her hips and arms.

The material would have made it almost impossible for her to wear underwear beneath the dress while she could have possibly been wearing a strapless bra.

The dress which created the optical illusion of a curvy white silhouette down the middle drew attention to the 40-year-old's tiny waist.

With a dark green peplum section that matched her kimono style arm cuffs, the slender mother-of-two looked in great shape.

The actress who plays  Pepper Potts in the Iron Man franchise is known for taking up strict healthy eating plans such as eating only macrobiotic meals in an effort to stay trim.

Gywneth wore natural make-up and kept her blonde locks straight and to one side over her shoulder. Her nails had purple nail polish and for accessories she paired a large drop earring with a contrasting small stud that evening.

After being crowned by People magazine as the World’s Most Beautiful Woman, Gywneth suffered a lot of jibes on Twitter from those who did not agree with some getting very personal. This sexy and mature style from the actress must surely have shut the mouths of many critics.
