A lot of celebs have increasingly shown a penchant for this classic hue. Ditching the tried-and-tested black, Bollywood's leading men have opted for blue ensembles for their outings. From midnight blue to cobalt blue - the colour seems to be the new fave if a slew of recent red carpet appearances are a yardstick to reckon with. While Hrithik Roshan wore a Troy Costa blue tux with black lapels, Amitabh Bachchan wore his blue jacket with a pair of black trousers. Abhishek Kapoor radiated his scruffy salt and pepper vibe in an all blue look from head to toe and completed his look with a pair of metallic blue loafers, Riteish Deshmukh opted for a blue bandhgala and wore it with a pair of beige tailored trousers and tanned lace-ups. Anil Kapoor too wore a blue tux with black lapels and accessorised with a black tie.

One thing's for sure - these men and their stylists clearly believe that blue is sartorially fail-proof. Hope we see new daring colours emerging in the mundane and predictable menswear space. Next time add a pop of colour with a nifty accessory like a pocket square or socks.
