Missed out literature Nobel, at least I get invited to Comedy Nights with Kapil, says Chetan Bhagat

India's biggest selling english language novelist Chetan Bhagat has been hitting the headlines for quite some time because of his latest novel Half Girlfriend. As the sales of his latest offering are breaking records, the author is all set to promote it on popular TV show — Comedy Nights with Kapil.

An excited Chetan Bhagat took to the microblogging site Twitter to express his feelings about the same, he wrote: 

It seems Chetan is not just excited but nervous also as he is expecting to be mocked by comedy king Kapil Sharma. To avoid the same, the author also asked his fans for some tips. 

In his last tweet about Comedy Nights with Kapil, the author also appeared a little upset about not winning the Nobel Prize for Literature, but his excitement to be on the show balanced it out well.   

The IIT-ian, who left his banking job to make a career in writing has emerged out as the best selling English author of India. His past novels have also been made into blockbuster Bollywood movies like —3 Idiots, Kai Po Che and 2 States. Now, his latest offering will also be adapted into a film by Ekta Kapoor and Mohit Suri.
