Mira is a normal girl, says Shahid Kapoor

For the longest time, reports of Shahid Kapoor getting engaged to a mysterious girl had been doing the rounds. But recently, a leading daily reported that the girl in question was Mira Rajput, who hails from Delhi. Ever since the news broke out, Shahid had maintained strict silence on the matter and even distanced himself from the press by giving the 'Haider' National Award success party a miss.

But the actor addressed the media at a recently held event and he did confirm the news of his impending marriage. "I am not yet engaged but yes, marriage is definitely on the cards sometime towards the end of 2015", Shahid confirmed. While the actor requested the media to respect his privacy and refrained from getting into the details, he acknowledged it in front of media.

"It is something really personal and I would not like to get into the details. Mira is a normal girl and I am a normal guy. We should rather treat things like something normal and regular", Shahid signed off.
