Singer Miley Cyrus has come in defense of Selena Gomez after Stefano Gabbana, one half of Italian designer duo Dolce & Gabbana, called her "really ugly".'

Cyrus took a stand for her fellow songstress by commenting on a throwback photo of the two hugging.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker slammed the designer for making derogatory remarks saying "Well what that d--k head said (if it's true) is f--king false and total bull s--t," Cyrus wrote, clearly not mincing her words. "She fine as f--k."

The Italian designer has traded barbs with Cyrus in the past.

In 2017, the singer had said that she does not agree with Dolce and Gabbana's 'politics,' when the Italian fashion house decided to dress First Lady of The United States Melania Trump after many designers had turned her down.

In response to her comment, Gabbana said, "We are Italian and we don't care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it's simply ignorant."

Gabbana, who has often made headlines with his scandalous statements and feuds with celebrities, stepped into another controversy by commenting on Gomez's appearance.

The Catwalk Italia had shared a collage of five red dresses worn by Gomez on Instagram, Gabbana commented in Italian "E proprio brutta!" which roughly translates to "She's really ugly!"

The designer also responded to a user's comment, agreeing that the singer "looks like a Pomeranian dog".

In the past, Gabbana has been in the eye of storm for commenting on a photo of Kate Moss wearing a black Saint Laurent romper, simply writing, "No"

Supermodel turned actress Cara Delevigne was another celeb supporting Selena.

Selenators came to rescue as well. But the singer herself has not addressed the issue.
