Michael Buble reveals how a breakup made him a better person

The 39-year-old singer, who is now married to a beautiful wife and has a child, went through a painful breakup with his girlfriend of three years actress Emily Blunt, after photos surfaced of the crooner in another woman's bed in 2008, People Magazine reported.

Buble said in a three-part interview with Canadian entertainment show eTalk that he was a jerk and was careless and reckless with the hearts of women he was with and he got his karma which he earned. Buble added that he got his butt and heart kicked and it hurt him enough that he looked in the mirror and he didn't want it to happen again and if he wanted to be a happy guy and really fall in love, he would have to love himself.

Buble, who is on tour in Dubai, admitted that it is so cringy how he acted, but it was a wake-up call for him. The reason to be a good guy isn't for the person you're with, it's for you.

He concluded that he thinks the experience of the heartbreak, he learned about himself, he got closer to being spiritual and learned to be in the moment and realise how short life is, adding that it changed everything: the way he was with his family, the way he treated women, how he was on stage.
