Maybe we failed, at least we tried something new: Sidharth Malhotra on failure of 'Baar Baar Dekho'

Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif along with the entire team, had left no stones unturned in the promotions of this last release Baar Baar Dekho. Though everyone has appreciated the fresh pair, the movie failed to impress the audience. 

Sidharth opened up on the under performance of the film in his recent interview published on The Quint.When asked if he feels a little let down when his choices don't work out well, he said that he never questions his choices and feels that after failures he comes out more experienced and wiser.

When quizzed about his takeaways from the failure of Baar Baar Dekho, Sid says, "The experience has made me more conscious of my future. Had Baar Baar Dekho worked better maybe I wouldn’t be so careful with the modalities of making a film. But I am still going to choose only those scripts that I believe in. I stand by my choices. If I like a script and a role it doesn’t matter how many other actors are there or how many scenes I have. All the films that I’ve done so far tell stories that I want to tell."

If given a chance to go into the future and not the the film, what would he do? Sidharth quips saying, " I’d still do the film. But maybe differently. I still think it has great potential. Now it’s already done. So no point in thinking of what can or cannot be fixed."
