Actress Margot Robbie is signing a first-look deal with Warner Bros to executive produce an untitled Harley Quinn project, a spin-off for her Suicide Squad character.

The new project expands the Australian actress' relationship with the studio where they also produce an adaptation of Dean N Jensen's Queen of the Air, in which she is tapped to star, said The Hollywood Reporter.

The deal will allow Robbie to develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap banner. She will develop and produce along with her LuckyChap partners Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr.

The 26-year-old actress, who made her breakout performance in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street and won Empire Award for Best Female Newcomer, has quickly waded into the world of producing.

She and her partners are in post-production on neo-noir thriller Terminal, their first movie as producers.
