Malayalam film 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' to be remade in Tamil with Prithviraj

The movie released in Malaylam and has been declared a superhit.

Malayalam hit film Ennu Ninte Moideen is likely to get a Tamil remake soon. Director Vimal is looking to remake the film in Tamil. He reportedly wants to adapt the film to Tamil sensibilities and work with a bigger budget as well. 

Ennu Ninte Moideen was one of the highly anticipated Malayalam films of the year. Vimal's debut film the real life love story of Moideen, a Muslim youth, and Kanchanamala, a Hindu woman, in the 1960s. The lead roles are essayed by Prithviraj and Parvathy. The movie released in Malayalam on September 19 and has been declared a superhit.

Prithviraj will reportedly reprise his role as Moideen in the Tamil version as well. 

The love story of Moideen and Kanchanamala is one of the most well-known ones in Kerala. Kanchanamala was placed under house arrest when her family came to know about their relationship and Moideen was banished from his family.
