Bollywood celebrated Halloween, the 'day of the dead', on Friday, amidst much enthusiasm in Mumbai. Halloween is fast becoming a trending festival in India, with people bringing out their best costumes and dressing up for get-togethers and parties. A largely Western festival, it is catching up here in India with celebrities and the youth taking up the concept with ease.

Halloween theme-based attractions have begun to come up for the night across the city in recent years, with restaurants and malls decking up to celebrate the festival. A treasure hunt was organised at Palladium Mall for Halloween, which is an annual affair. This year's party was hosted as a fundraiser for the Light of Life Trust, an NGO whose objective is to empower Indian women and children with sustainable and supportive programmes.

Celebrities were spotted at different parties in the city, and a few of them posted their Halloween looks and costumes on their Instagram accounts. Here's some of Bollywood at its scariest best:

Malaika Arora Khan put on a pink wig, and looked less scary, more pretty.
