Makers of music reality show upset with Mika Singh

Mika Singh appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show has created a furore amongst the channels. Mika is part of two shows Comedy Nights Live on Colors and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which he is judging on Zee.

While there has been news of Colors sending a notice to the Kapil’s production house asking them to refrain from showing him in the episode, sources say that the producers of the music reality show are contemplating what action they should take.

“Kapil’s show is in direct competition to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Though his contract doesn’t stop him from promoting his songs on other shows, he has to inform the makers and keep them in the loop, which he did not do in this case. The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team got to know only after he shot for that episode. Since then they have been trying speak to Mika, but his phone is unreachable,” says a source from the creative team.
