Festive fervour has caught Bollywood as celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, R Madhavan celebrated Makar Sakranti, Lohri and Pongal.
The 73-year-old "Piku" star wished his fans on Twitter and wrote, "Happy Makarsankranti... Kites fly mostly in Gujarat on this auspicious day... Love."

Aamir, 50, celebrated Makar Sankranti with the cast and crew of his upcoming film "Dangal". Dressed in white kurta pyjama, looking bulky, the actor was seen flying kites with the locals in Ludhiana where the film is currently being shot. The "Dhoom 3" actor wished his fans on Twitter and added that flying kites was one of his "childhood passions."

Actor Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in the second season of "24", took to Twitter and said, "Kai Po Che! Let your kites and hearts soar high in the sky this #MakarSankranti."

His daughter, actress Sonam Kapoor was in Chandigarh for the Neerja Bhanot Bravery awards. The 30-year-old actress will be seen essaying the role of Bhanot in her upcoming Ram Madhvani-directed biopic "Neerja". She celebrated Lohri with the family of Bhanot and tweeted, "Celebrating lohri in Punjab thanks to #aneeshbhanot #akhilbhanot and fly for letting me join in the celebration! Happy lohri everyone!"

Meanwhile, the team of "Saala Khadoos", including actor R Madhvan, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and debutant actress Ritika Singh celebrated the Tamil New Year, Pongal, in a traditional way. The trio were seen dressed in traditional south Indian attire, with Madhvan and Hirani donning a Mundu and Angavastram while Singh wore a red saaree with a gajra. The team also had snacks which were served on Banana leaves. "Saala Khadoos", a bilingual sports drama (titled 'Irudhi Suttru' in Tamil) is written and directed by Sudha Kongara. The film releases on January 29.
