First things first, the most striking and impressive part about Main Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga is its thoughtful lyrics, penned by the immensely talented Manoj Muntashir. Take a bow! This is by far one of the best tracks to have been released this year. 

The song begins by giving us glimpses of the memorable moments shared between Madhav (Arjun Kapoor) and Riya (Shraddha Kapoor) in the film and portrays Madhav's limitless, unconditional unrequited love for Riya. The lyrics and the tune create a beautiful mood and you can't help but think about the relationship which you almost had. The emotion of unrequited boundless love coupled with the agony of separation finds the perfect melody in the composition of the song by Mithoon.

And how can we talk about the emotions of love, pain and separation without Arijit Singh who has once again given us a track to remember in his commendable vocals. Shashaa Tirupati compliments him well. The rest of the visuals in Main Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga do little to enhance or add to the feel of the song. Even without the visuals, this soulful song stays with you!
