Maha sangam with Imran Khan

Imran Khan who was recently landed on the sets of Zee TV’s primetime soap Punarvivaah … Ek Nayi Umeed to promote his upcoming release Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, he was quite intrigued by the plot of the show, says a source. “He found  Karan V Grover’s role who plays the main lead Raaj in the show, very fascinating.

It would be interesting to dwell into the dynamics between the two that lead up to such an unusual event,” Imran is said to have conveyed to Karan. He also felt that the fact that the man would care enough to set out in search of a suitable groom for his ex-wife speaks volumes about how there can be positivity between two people even if their marriage has ended. “This is a progressive thought and I’m glad to see television mirroring the changing times!” he said.

Imran who plays the character of Aslam in the film has shot for a dance number to the famous song Taiyab Ali with Surbhi Jyoti who plays Zoya, in Qubool Hai, which will be a part of the Mahasangam episode of Qubool Hai, Connected Hum Tum and Punarvivaah … Ek Nayi Umeed, today.
