Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin: Parineeti Chopra makes her singing debut with this yearning-meets-nostalgia song!

Parineeti Chopra is finally back with her film opposite Ayushmann Khurrana titled Meri Pyari Bindu. The first song from the film Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi marks the singing debut of Parineeti and she charms us with her maiden attempt in this lilting melody.

Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi can best be described as a beautiful amalgamation of yearning and reminiscence. It's a soft, soothing and soulful melody that speaks about the kind of love that's forlorn for reasons unknown. Evident from the way it has been picturised, Pari's character hasn't been able to move on from her former yaar. Though she accepts that the person is no longer with her but her longing for the same is unmistakable.

Throughout the song, Pari is seen, looking at various objects around her which probably remind her of her former love interest, his habits and more. There's a certain sense of void that magically haunts the song, both lyrically and visually.

Penned by Kausar Munir, who has done a fantastic job at bringing out the feels of longing and nostalgia through the lyrics, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi song has been enchantingly composed by Sachin-Jigar.
