Sci-fi fantasy Black Panther has announced a new addition, Danai Gurira, to its current cast and also gave out details about the characters in the film.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film is all set to feature The Walking Dead star, who will play Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Chadwick Boseman is playing the lead role of the Wakandan king, whereas, Michael B Jordan will play Erik Killmonger, reportedly a villain.

The movie also stars Lupita Nyong'o, who will essay the role of Nakia, a member of the Black Panther's personal guard.

Black Panther is slated to release on February 16, 2018.
