Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to work together for Anurag Basu's new movie

After Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti the duo is back with Anurag Basu's upcoming detective comedy Jagga Jasoos with over 25 songs.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be seen as the lead pair and Govinda will feature as Ranbir's step father.

The 34 year-old actor is thrilled to work with Govinda and beliefs that Govinda has influnenced people as an actor and a dancer.

Jagga Jasoos is very special to Ranbir not only because his lady love, Katrina Kaif will be his leading lady but also because the actor will be playing a detective for the first time and is rumored to co-produce it with Anurag Basu.

Currently he completed his shooting for his upcoming movie Bombay Velvet, directed and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and starring Anushka Sharma in the leading pair. Based on Mumbai Fables a book by Gyan Prakash a story about an ordinary man who goes against all odds and forges his destiny to become a 'Big Shot' .

To transform for his look in Jagga Jasoos as an 18 year old Ranbir had to lose weight very quickly.

On the other hand, his girlfriend Katrina Kaif who is busy shooting for her upcoming movie Bang Bang with Hrithik Roshan, a remake of a Hollywood film- Knight and Day will now be making time for Jagga Jasoos.
