Look who all are performing at the opening ceremony of IPL 8!

IPL has always been the ultimate coalition of sports and entertainment in India and with its eighth season, it seems to be no different at all. If it was Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and other B-town biggies who performed at the opening ceremonies in the last few years, this year will see a new array of Bollywood actors who will take centre stage to entertain the audiences this IPL 8 opening ceremony.

While it was reported that Anushka Sharma will be performing at the opening ceremony, now BCCI has confirmed the same. Anushka, who has been dating Virat Kohli for quite sometime now will be seen jiving to some of her hit numbers while beau Virat looks on. The Board also has plans of creating some special moments for the audience by making Anushka and Virat perform together.

Joining Anushka will be Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor, both known for their incredible dancing skills. The two heroes will be seen performing live at the opening ceremony and the preparations for the same has already begun. The event which will be telecast live from Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata at 7.30 pm on Tuesday will be hosted by Saif Ali Khan.
