Lisa Haydon to replace Diana Penty in 'Atithi' sequel

While there were reports that Happy Bhag Jayegi actress Diana Penty was in running to be cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in Abhishek Pathak's upcoming film, Athithi in London, it's confirmed now that hottie Lisa Haydon has been signed for the part. The love story hinges around a London-based couple, with Paresh Rawal essaying the pandemonium causing guest.

"Kartik is surprised by a middleaged couple who are his relatives and are in the Queen's City for some work. While Pareshji plays the male lead, talks are on with Supriya Pathakji to enact the role of his wife," Abhishek had informed a tabloid earlier.

According to a source, "Lisa plays a London girl and came on board this week. Kartik and Paresh were signed much earlier and the team was on the lookout for an Indian girl born and brought up abroad. Lisa fit the bill perfectly. Her character takes on odd jobs to make a living and afford a decent lifestyle in the expensive city. She is expected to shoot between the first week of September and mid-October in London and its outskirts. The atithi's arrival causes an upheaval in the household as the couple is already facing a cash crunch."

The film's rep also confirmed that she was approached for the movie.
