Actress Kim Sharma has been settled in Kenya since her marriage to Kenyan business tycoon Ali Punjani and the actor who did quite a few films in Bollywood, has now donned a new hat — that of a hotelier. At present the actress is in the city for the release of what could possibly be her last film.

Talking about her life post marriage, Kim says, “It’s been over a year now and I must confess that it has been a superb journey and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Of course there is a huge difference between what I was doing earlier (actress) and what I am doing now (entrepreneur), but it has just helped me evolve as an individual, in the most beautiful manner. It’s not just the change of location and profession for me, everything is different. From being a single lady, I am now a married woman. Life has changed 180 degrees. There are so many responsibilities. It’s a whole new life.”

Quiz her if she misses Bollywood and her career as an actor and she quickly responds, “No, not at all! I miss my family the most, when I am there. I miss my friends as well, but I make sure I am in regular touch with most of them. And as far as acting is concerned I enjoyed acting and being a part of Bollywood and now I am enjoying being an entrepreneur and venturing as an hotelier and have no plans to get back to acting any time soon.”

So does she plan to open up hotel properties in India? She replies, “As of now I don’t have any plans to venture in Mumbai. I plan to concentrate more in Africa as of now, expand there. That is my home now!” She further adds, “Right now my hotel properties are my babies and are based in exotic locations which make them an ideal property for shoots. I would therefore not mind to let people I have known for the same whenever they are in Mombasa, Africa.”

According to her what is the best part of being in Africa? “The wildness. It’s Africa! It is so wild. So Exotic. Apparently that’s where it all started and where it is all going to end!” she quips.
