Lance Armstrong has revealed that he plays golf these days after his doping scandal surfaced in 2012.

During an interview with Esquire, the 42-year-old American former professional road racing cyclist said that he occasionally goes for bike rides, and though it's nothing close to the caliber at which he previously competed, he "doesn't really care, Us Magazine reported.

However, the once-seven-time Tour de France title holder added that he doesn't intend on playing golf for too long as his 'head will explode' if he is still 'playing golf five days a week at fifty'.

Armstrong, who takes lessons, plays eighteen holes, then goes home to watch golf on TV, also admitted that he hopes to reconcile with the Livestrong Foundation, the nonprofit cancer organization he founded in 1997 and stepped down as chairman in October 2012.
