Lady Gaga will make a special tribute performance at the Academy Awards this year, it has been confirmed.

Oscars' producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have announced that the American singer is an 'once-in-a-lifetime artist whose musical evolution keeps growing' and 'they are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time', Deadline.com reported.

Zadan and Meron had earlier announced that Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine, John Legend and Rita Ora will perform as well, where they sing their Oscar-nominated songs.
