Not cool says Nihalaniji: Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 to have 150 cuts?

The Censor Board has reportedly cut almost 150 scenes from Tushar Kapoor-Aftab Shivdasani starrer 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3' (KKHH 3). If these reports are true, we wonder what is after all left in the movie now.

The movie which is being promoted as 'porn-com' has already faced a lot of criticism from the audiences for its 'crass humour'. Replete with sexual innuendos and double meaning dialogues, KKHH 3 stars Tushar, Aftab, Bigg Boss fame Mandana Karimi and Gizelle Thakral in the lead.

In an interview with dna, Censor Board Chief Pahlaj Nihalani had said that to save himself from the Sanskaari image that he is being portrayed in, he decided to give a go-head to KKHH3 trailer.

"We are in a Catch-22 situation. Karo toh gaali, na karo toh gaali. When we were strict with the vulgarity quotient, we were called prudes. Sanskaari became a gaali. And to endorse obscenity was seen worthy of taali. So, we certified some films with scenes and dialogues that we would otherwise have never passed as they went against our guidelines," Nihalani had said. 

There were also reports that the I&B Ministry had pulled up Nihalani over Mastizaade and KKHH 3 trailers. 

Now considering that KKHH 3 had to undergo 150 cuts, we wonder what does fate hold for Mastizaade that stars Tushar Kapoor, Sunny Leone and Vir Das.
