Kushal Tandon speaks up on the Gauahar Khan slapping incident

Gauahar Khan has been in the news for the past few days after the actress was slapped during a shooting. The news shook the entire film fraternity and many Bollywood celebrities came out in support of Gauahar. 

Gauahar's beloved Kushal Tandon, too opened up to a leading daily and spoke about the incident. Kushal who was taken aback like everyone was angry when he heard the news. 

Kushal clearly questioned how such a thing could happen to any person despite the bodyguards being there. He also questioned that if not a slap but the offender had a knife, who would have taken the responsibility for anyone's safety! 

The accused has also claimed that the sole reason that he hit Gauahar was because she dressed up in short skirts, which according to him, was against their religion. On knowing the reason, Kushal felt disgusted and said that if this is what people feel, then each actress should rather stop working. 

Clearly, an upset and angry Kushal is too shocked about the incident. Meanwhile, the channel also issued a statement condemning such an act. The channel had also reportedly offered  Gauahar to excuse herself from the shoots but a brave Gauahar stayed put and finished her work commitments!
