Music composer and singer, Arjun Kanungo and Pakistani singer Momina Mustehsan’s mid-tempo love ballad Aaya na Tu has created a huge buzz on social media and has already crossed over 6.8 million views on YouTube in just two days. The lyrics of the song were penned by Jaipur lad, Kunaal Vermaa in just 30 minutes. Speaking to AFTERhrs, Kunaal shared, “Arjun had a composition in mind and he went to Mohit (Suri) sir to look for a song with that composition. He as well as Universal Studio suggested my name for the lyrics.”
“When Arjun and I met, he told me about the kind of song he wanted and made me listen to the composition he had in mind. We both sat down together and completed the lyrics in just 30 minutes,” he added. The lyricist used his personal experience in the writing. “The song is about love and the complications associated with it. So, somewhere I have used my experience and feelings in my writing (laughs),” he revealed.
The song is the first single for the popular Coke Studio singer, Momina. However, Vermaa believes that both Momina and Arjun have done full justice to the song. Kunaal and Baaki Baatein Peene Baad singer, Arjun plan to collaborate more for upcoming songs.
