Known for rubbing B-Town celebs up the wrong way, Kamaal R Khan recently landed in a legal soup after filmmaker Vikram Bhatt filed a defamation case against him.

It all began when the Deshdrohi actor accused the 47-year-old film director of trying to "supply Meera Chopra to a well-known producer," after which, Vikram sent a criminal defamation notice to KRK alleging that he has been circulating false and derogatory stories.

Later, Kamaal took to his Twitter page to post a snap of the notice online and a series of tweets.
He wrote:

Vikram's lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee told Spotboye.com, "I had already served a Criminal Notice on Mr. Kamal Rashid Khan for and on behalf of Mr. Vikram Bhatt, and he was required to respond to the same within 7 days."
He added saying, "The said 7 days got over yesterday and it is obvious that he does not have any reply or justification for his criminal acts. Instead, he has chosen to blatantly continue his criminal acts showing complete disregard to the Laws laid down by the Statute, and even had the audacity to outrage the modesty of my other client Ms. Meera Chopra."
