Krisha Vamsi's Sundeep Kishan film a big budget cop story?

National Award-winning director Krishna Vamsi, whose films have not fared well in the recent times, is planning to make a comeback with a Sundeep Kishan film. It is touted to be a big budget commercial drama with a lot of action and twists and turns. Both the director and actor are said to be excited to be working together. Actor Sundeep Kishan will be seen as a young cop whose character will have a lot of scope for performance.This film will also have a popular actress in a crucial role.

Krishna Vamsi has also supposedly pitched movie scripts involving the three generations of the Akkineni family, the 150th movie for Chiranjeevi and 100th movie of Balakrishna. He even had a script for Pawan Kalyan. Though he got a big project from Ram Charan in Govindudu Andari Vadele, the moderate box office success of the movie did not help salvage the career of this director.

Previously when he was in a low phase, he went on to shoot Danger on a shoe string budget and made a strong comeback. He was also supposed to direct a female-oriented film with Samantha in the lead role under producer Dil Raju’s banner but we hope this film bring success for both the director and actor.

At present, Sundeep Kishan is working for Oka Ammayi Thappa in Telugu and Mayavan in Tamil. After completion of these projects, he will start his new movie with Krishna Vamsi.

The movie will be formally launched on April 27th in Hyderabad. Currently, pre-production work is said to be on.
