Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey announce separation after 8 years together

After 8 years of relationship, Talvar star Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey have decided to call it a day.

For a long time now, there was speculation about trouble in Konkana Sen Sharma-Ranvir Shorey's marriage. It started when the two arrived separately for a screening last year.

There was even talk about Konkona living independently, but Ranveer had dismissed it saying they are together. Konkona and Ranvir had been dating for a few years before they tied the knot on September 3, 2010 and have a four-year-old son Haroon.

Ranvir and Konkona both took to Twitter to announce their separation. "Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you," he tweeted. Even tweeted the same starting with, "Ranveer and I..." .

The actress was recently seen in the biopic Gour Hari Dastaan in which she played the protagonist's wife.
