KO 2 is a political thriller releasing just at the right time. With the Tamil Nadu elections on May 16, the movie seems to be making the best of it. Produced by Elred Kumar's RS infotainment the movie stars Bobby Simhaa, Prakash Raj, Nikki Galrani and Bala Saravanan. The movie is directed by Sarath who has worked with directors Vishnu Vardhan and Chakri Toleti.

National Award-winning actor Bobby Simha is excited about the film’s release. "I play the role of a young and enthusiastic reporter who comes across as a very daring person. I don't care about the most powerful man in the city which is the Chief Minister. This role is on par with more or less my personal character. I am sure this role of mine will have a huge connect with today's youth. We have stressed on the importance of the youth in today's politics and social awareness. Prakash Raj sir and I  have some intense sequences where the sparks fly.  As an actor, I have an idea about the kind of image I need to have and I am sure KO 2 will set the ball rolling in that endeavour," says Bobby Simhaa.
