Kiefer Sutherland to speak Hindi?

Anil Kapoor is always excited and in a state of constant euphoria. But now he’s over the moon. Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland (protagonist of the original 24, an American TV series) has showed interest in acting in the Hindi version of the show.  It may be recalled that Anil Kapoor was seen in season 8 of 24, as Omar Hassan, President of Kamistan. In the Indianised version he plays the role essayed by Sutherland (Jack Bauer), an agent at the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU).

Post the show, Anil and he stayed in touch. When Keifer was in Delhi, for The Reluctant Fundmentalist, Kapoor couldn’t meet him, but they spoke on the phone. Anil confirms, “I was busy with the shooting for the show and unfortunately we couldn’t connect.

When a friend of mine asked him if he would like to do a cameo in the Hindi version of 24, Kiefer said he would be honoured. We spoke on the phone later and he said the same to me. I hope we can come up with something for Kiefer. Though we have already shot five episodes of the first season, I am trying my best to create a cameo for him. If not, I will surely have him do something in the second season.”
