Katrina Kaif makes her Cannes Debut in a black and white sheer dress

The newest face from L'Oreal India, Katrina Kaif made her debut at Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

Katrina has already started meeting the press at a conference in Hotel Martinez. And with that, she showed off her first outfit on Day 1 of the world's most prestigious film festival. 

Looking sexy in a white and black outfit, Katrina red hair certainly draws attention, which is her look in her upcoming film Fitoor.

The actress who is not on any social media webiste, has become part of the Twitter world only to promote her Cannes visit. She created a profile last month, and has been updating her fans with her Cannes trip since Tuesday.

Katrina is yet to make her red carpet debut at Cannes. Also presenting L'Oreal at Cannes will be Bollywood actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor. This is Aishwarya's 14th year at the Cannes Festival, while the fifth time for Sonam Kapoor.

Actress Richa Chadda makes her second visit to Cannes as her film Masaan is set to premiere at the festival. The last time she attended Cannes was during the premiere of Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012. 

Actress Mallika Sherawat is attending Festival de Cannes as well. She has been invited by FICCI to be on the discussion panel of 'Co-Produce in India' on behalf of the Information & Broadcasting Ministry which is scheduled to be held on May 14.
