Katrina Kaif has a RECORD 167k followers within hours of her Instagram announcement!

Remember how we were the first ones to tell you that Katrina Kaif is joining Facebook before her birthday last year? And now, we are again the first ones to tell you that Katrina has now joined Instagram.

Her official account on Insta is @KatrinaKaif and she, in an exclusive interview with us gave interesting details about how she wants to take forward her Instagram legacy. But wait, Katrina is a private person but she really enjoys clicking snaps and putting them up on Facebook.

For Insta too, she plans to do the same. And although she hasn't gone live with her account yet, you won't believe but she's already hit a straight record. Without any pictures yet, Katrina Kaif has got 167k followers. Now, that's impressive. Woot woot, Kat!

Her first post should come around 2.30-3 pm today when she meets the international team of Instagram for a candid event.
