Katie Price welcomes new baby boy Jett Riviera

Katie Price has given birth to her new son, Jett Riviera, who was born 8-weeks premature.

After Price developed a potentially life-threatening infection, the baby boy, weighing just 5 lb 2 oz, was delivered by emergency C-section in a foreign hospital, the Mirror reported.

The 35-year-old reality TV star told the publication that she went through a nightmare, when the baby’s heart rate fell dangerously low.

Price was forced to give birth without her hubby Kieran Hayler, as he was not allowed in the operating theatre.

Riviera, who was taken away to a special care unit after a quick kiss from his mother, is said to be “doing well” in the hospital.
