Katie Holmes to return as Jacqueline Kennedy in new TV miniseries 'The Kennedys - After Camelot'

Actor Katie Holmes, will reprise her role as Jacqueline Kennedy, the most iconic first lady of the United States in Reelz Channel new miniseries, The Kennedys-After Camelot, it has been revealed.

Holmes will also serve as executive producer and will direct one of the four episodes of the new series, Deadline reported. The Kennedys-After Camelot, is a follow-up to the 2011 miniseries​ The Kennedys, which is based on the story of the most famous political family in American history. The four-hour miniseries will premiere on Reelz and Canada's Corus Entertainment in 2016.

The production of the series is said to begin in the spring 2015 in Canada.
