The Duchess of Cambridge looked similar to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, when she teamed up a retro dress with a heavy parted fringe at the opening of the Natural History Museum’s Treasure exhibition on Tuesday.
Diana has donned an almost identical green silk chiffon dress during a 1983 tour as she was leaving Auckland, New Zealand, for a trip to the Bahamas, the Daily Mail reported.
Like Kate’s 1,400-pound-Mulberry dress, Diana’s dress was buttoned high, belted at the waist and gathered at the wrists creating a balloon sleeve.
Even the Royals’ stances were same, with hands clasped demurely in front.
