Karva Chauth special: Raqesh, Yash, Hiten fasted for their wives!

On Karva Chauth, women fast all day without eating or drinking and pray for the long life of their husbands. While we admire the female clan for doing this, it's high time that men also take the cue and wish their wives a long life, right? Well, we found three dishy, dedicated and patnivrata men who had taken the onus of keeping their wife company by fasting along with them.

Raqesh Vashisth: "Yes I keept a fast for Riddhi. Mainly because we are partners in crime, so if she is going to stay hungry for me it's only right for me to do the same, no? I remember we had kept a fast for each other during the shoot of Maryada. We were shooting in Madh island and couldn't spot the moon. We went searching for the moon because the hunger was killing us. We finally spotted the moon and did the puja in the middle of the road."

Yash Sinha: "Last year was the first time we kept a fast for each other. I tried to last year but failed 'coz I drank water. But this time I sacrificed water as well. I did this just to support her so that she doesn't feel left out. It is very difficult to do this vrat. If you don't think about it, it becomes easier.

Hiten Tejwani: I have never fasted, in fact I have never kept a fast because I can't stay hungry. It's really challenging for me. I appeal to all the husbands to do this for their wives; it's a very small gesture for them. Gauri was very happy that I am doing this, but at the same time she is like 'you are mad to do this'.
