Karthi picks up hunter for 'Sulthan' first look

Karthi has released the first look from his movie 'Sulthan' on Sunday. The actor is seen in a solo character poster, holding a whip (hunter) while goons and common men gear up to fight in his team, in the background. The poster has also painted cloudy sky.

Karthi, who is also producing the film, shared the poster on his social media handles. "Dear brothers and sisters, Your love and appreciation is what keeps us going! Bringing you the first look of #Sulthan. Hope you like it! Love you guys! #SulthanFirstLook," he wrote alongside the poster.

'Remo' famed helmer, Bakkiyaraj Kannan, has written and directed the movie. Dream Warrior Pictures has come on board as the producers of the film. SR Prabhu had called the film a 'complete family and action entertainer'.

Karthi had also termed 'Sultan' as one of his 'biggest productions' so far. The movie marks Rashmika Mandanna's debut in the Tamil film industry. 

“A few words about #Sulthan is that it’s my first Tamil film and since I was a little girl dad and I have watched so many Tamil films and it feels surreal that now I get to work with such big and yet humble and wonderful people.. I am truly grateful for all that I have right now,” she penned on Twitter as her reaction to the first look and poster from the film.

There is no official update on the release date of 'Sulthan'. However, news is that cinemas are all set to reopen in Tamil Nadu soon.
