The actress will be making an appearance for the first time on the show Comedy Nights With Kapil
The Kapoor khandaan appears to be coming together for young Armaan Jain for his debut film, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. After Armaan's great-grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor and the entire Kapoor family (except Ranbir) from Rishi-Neetu to Randhir Kapoor and is daughters Kareena and Karisma, turned up for the music launch of the film last week, now Karisma will come on Comedy Nights With Kapil, with Armaan this week. This is Karisma's first ever appearance on the show.
Says a source, "Usually it has never happened that a debutant actor or actress has come on the show with someone who is not connected to the film at all. Tiger Shroff has come with his father Jackie, but this time Armaan will come with his cousin sister, Karisma. She has never come on the show but it didn't take a minute to convince Lolo. Both she and Kareena are doign whatever it takes to promote their cousin's film. Both are also very close to his mother Rima. They are shooting the show tomorrow and though Karisma hasn't done a comedy show like this before she is looking forward to it as she has heard fun stuff about it from her sister Kareena and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan."
Armaan's spokesperson confirms that Karisma will be going with him for KNWK and adds, "This Karisma and the other members of Armaan's family way of showing support for Armaan and his debut film."
Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali are also doing their bits for promoting Lekar Hum Deewana Dil - Ranbir for his young cousin and Imtiaz Ali for his brother Arif Ali who is directing the film. Being avid football lovers, Ranbir, Armaan, Arif, Imtiaz and Deeksha Seth (lead actress in LHDD) will celebrate the football fever by organizing a football evening, at a football playing ground in the city.
