Karisma Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan celebrate newborn Taimur with a glass of champagne

Karisma Kapoor is a proud aunt. On wednesday, she posted a picture on her Instagram account with brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan where the two of them are seen bonding over a glass of champagne over the birth of Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.

The picture was posted at 11 am and already witnessed over 22,000 likes on the photo blogging site. Interestingly, while maasi Karisma looks like a bundle of joy, Saif appears to be frowning in the picture. We’re sure that he’s elated over the birth of his son, but we can only imagine the stress he must have endured when his wife was in labour.

It’s the stress a father-to-be has when his wife goes into labour. In a picture posted by Karisma, we got to see the new daddy raising a toast as he looks very happy. On Tuesday, both Saif and Kareena released a statement announcing the birth of their child. Sharing their joy with the world, Saif and Kareena said in a statement on Tuesday, “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last nine months, and of course especially our fans and well-wishers for their continued affection. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. With love, Saif & Kareena. Thank you.”
