Kareena Kapoor Khan to play ex-girlfriend to Saif Ali Khan in 'Happy Endings'

The Saif Ali Khan-Ileana D'Cruz starrer Happy Ending is making the right buzz now.

After Saif roped in good friend and his Salaam Namaste co-star Preity Zinta to play one of his ex-girlfriends in the film, it is heard that Kareena Kapoor will also make a short cameo playing another ex-girlfriend to Saif's character in the film.

The Raj and Krishna DK film is hitting the right chords, it seems. The directors wanted someone to play the role who has, in the past, shared great on screen chemistry with the actor. Preity whose pairing with Saif has been appreciated over the years was eventually selected for the role.

Saif requested his Kya Kehna co-star and Preity readily agreed to be a part of the film. But Kareena's inclusion was more spontaneous. She was spending time with the cast and crew and hubby Saif on the film sets in Los Angeles when they decided to cast her as Saif's ex girlfriend.

While Priety's character is the anchor to Saif's character in the film, Kareena plays the role of an obsessive lover.
