Karan Johar waves goodbye to 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded'

Filmmaker Karan Johar has bid adieu to the latest season of celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded as a host.

Johar's next directorial venture is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma and its shoot begins soon.

Johar, 43, took to Twitter saying he was thankful to the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded team for making him feel special.

Was a hugely emotional day for me on the sets of #JhalakReloaded yesterday...thank you to the entire team for making me feel so special....

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who co-judges the Colors show, tweeted that Johar was irreplaceable on the show.

@karanjohar u will be sorely missed on the sets of #JhalakReloaded . No one can replace you . Thank you for everything .

The filmmaker, who is producing Kapoor's upcoming film Shaandaar, quickly responded to the love.

Johar started hosting the show from season five in 2012. The host of the show Manish Paul couldn't deal with the pain of the filmmaker leaving the show either.

Dancer Lauren Gottlieb and choreographer Ganesh Hegde are fellow judges on the show this season.
