Kannada actress Rega Sindhu killed in car accident

Kannada television actress Rega Sindhu died in a car accident while travelling from Chennai to Bangalore on Friday. The vehicle collided at the centre meter in the limestone pond near Nandramalli in Vellore district, reports Times of India.

Rega died on the spot and her body has been taken to Tirupattur Government Hospital and police are investigating the case, reports the daily. The actor has worked in a number of Kannada and even Tamil shows.

After the news broke, Rega Sindhu was mistaken for another Kannada actress Rekha Krishnappa. When she realised that such news had gone viral on the Internet, she took to her Facebook account to shoot down the death rumors. Rekha clarified that she's currently travelling with her family.

"I am all fine guys.....at present in Sringeri. sharada petta temple," she posted. So calm down fans, Rekha is doing fine.
