Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's relationship was long over. But while on one hand, Kangana has been a strong woman, accepted and moved on, Hrithik is still not comfortable accepting his affair in public. Recently, Kangana's comments had sparked outrage on social media, following which Hrithik tweeted about the same.
In his tweet, Hrithik had mocked all the news doing the rounds and the people claiming to have been in a relationship with him. Although he distanced himself from taking names, it was evident that his tweets were targeted at Kangana. Especially because they came right after Kangana's statement confirming their secret relationship that once existed. Ever since the tweet, Kangana had decided to stay calm and not make too much hue and cry about the thing.
But in a recent interview with a leading daily, Kangana lashed out at Hrithik and gave a fitting reply to his sarcastic tweet as well. "I’m not sure it (Twitter message) was targeted at me, but even if it was, I can’t question someone else’s feeling. I have nothing to say about that, but generally speaking, when it comes to human emotions and equations, there are no rules. You never know why one fine day you wake up with a desire for a certain somebody. Or one day, you stop wanting it. Everyone should follow their instinct, and it is not about who is right or wrong. Having said that, I feel when two people amicably decide to end an equation, they must give it a dignified closure and stick to it. I take a lot of time to put an end to a relationship, but when I leave it behind… it is over. It is very disturbing when others don’t follow it. I never mourn over my past men, as there are so many around (laughs). I’ve never begged a man to stay after he has decided to move on. I have been dumped and rejected so many times, but it has never shattered my confidence. I know there is always another story around the corner. There is always a man better than the one before."
Now this is quite a statement and we can't stop saluting Kangana for her unabashed honesty. She's time and again proved that she's extremely strong-willed and opinionated and she doesn't really get boxed into the usual Bollywood stereotype- that of playing the diplomatic damsel in distress. And with this reply, our faith in her strength remains intact. As a matter of fact, it just shows that there are some men who don't have the spine to respect or accept a relationship. But for Kangs- either you man up or you shut up! Rightly so.
