Last week, a piece of news left the whole nation and Bollywood shocked. According to the report on a leading tabloid, Vikas Bahl the director of the celebrated blockbuster Queen has been accused of sexually harassing a female employee.

Reportedly, a girl at Phantom has alleged that Vikas asked for sexual favours and kept sexually abusing her for the last one and half years. The girl finally decided to speak up and the other partners at Phantom -  Madhu Mantena, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane - have severed ties with Bahl and asked him not to report to office anymore.

While this has become a topic of discussion amid filmy circles, Kangana Ranaut who was Bahl's leading lady in Queen, has reacted to the whole issue. While at an event, when asked about the episode,  Kangana spoke in favour of the victim. Kangana was asked about women speaking up against sexual harassment at work (in reference to the Vikas Bahl incident).

Here's what she said -

"We are here to talk about a brand, but what you mentioned is a serious topic. But whoever faces such situations and speaks up is courageous. Generally speaking, they should be encouraged to talk about it by their family, colleagues. They should not be shamed. Obviously, there will always be another side to the other story. But people should speak up, whether it is right or wrong."
