Kalki Koechlin has been roped in for an all-new travel show that will highlight the unexplored terrains of the North East. Kalki along with her father Joel Koechlin, will be shown traversing through this part of India on a motorbike. The show that will go on air in September, will interest not only travel lovers but also photographers, foodies, and adventure enthusiasts.
Watch the talented actress tackle unpredictable weather conditions and rocky terrains. Kalki scales 4,000 kilometres with her Dad who she calls her favourite travel partner and real-life travel inspiration. Joel is a legendary biker and a renowned photographer. The father-daughter duo will take on old, narrow bridges in Tawang, sing some classics to entertain the public, make new friends and challenge each other to a game of football.
Kalki Koechlin said, “It feels great to work with the team at FOX Life again. The North-East has always intrigued me and it will be quite an experience to explore the terrain on two wheels. It was not one of the comfortable, relaxing holidays but every muscle ache was worth it - the show was a dream vacation for a thrill seeker like me.” Kalki’s Great Escape will air on Fox Life and National Geographic Channel.
