Kajol to play a negative role in Dhanush starrer 'VIP 2'?

Twenty years after she played a cold-blooded killer in Gupt (1997), buzz is Kajol is all set to play another negative role. This time in the Tamil film Velaiyilla Pattathari 2 (VIP 2). The film is directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya, and also stars her husband Dhanush along with Amala Paul.

In this sequel, Dhanush essays the character Raghuvaran (transitions from an unemployed graduate to a successful civil engineer) and Kajol plays his employer who is attracted to him. Adds a source, “It’s something Kajol has never done before and that’s what attracted her to the script. Kajol’s character goes all out to woo him and pulls crazy stunts.”

It’s also her comeback in Tamil cinema after 20 years. She had last done Rajiv Menon’s Minsara Kanavu (1997). Is it just us or does her character remind anyone else of Demi Moore in Disclosure?
