Kailasa and Richard Bona collaborate!

Kailasa frontman, Kailash Kher told a tabloid the band might soon be set for its first international collaboration.

Said Kailash, “We toured the US and Canada recently for concerts. While in New York, we met popular jazz bassist Richard Bona. He told me he is a fan of our music and listens to all our songs. I was surprised to learn that he performs our hit number Teri Deewani at all his concerts. So, I proposed the plan for collaboration and he was excited about it. We discussed it briefly over dinner.”

He added, “The nature of our band’s and Richard’s music is similar; there’s a lot of folk influence. I am planning to invite him to India to discuss the album further. I want the collaboration to fructify this year.”
